Placenta Encapsulation:

Placenta encapsulation allows mamas to access the benefits of their placenta over a longer period of time, which many feel helps their postpartum healing and improves the quality of their experience.

Choose from either the Traditional Chinese Medicine or Raw Encapsulation method. Optional placenta tincture, placenta prints and umbilical cord spiral included in price. The Traditional Chinese Medicine method involves steaming the placenta prior to dehydration with purifying and warming herbs. In the Raw Encapsulation method, there is no steaming before the raw placenta is dehydrated. In both methods, the end result are pills (just to reassure those who might be turned off by the word "raw"). Please be in touch about which method could be best for you.

Fee: $150 to $250 (sliding scale)
For postpartum doula clients: $ 100- $200

Placenta Bural Ceremony:

Honoring your placenta through a ceremonial burial is a beautiful way to bring closer to your pregnancy and is thought to"ground" your baby's spirit to the earth. I am happy to assist you in crafting a ceremony that would be meaningful to you and your family. This is a great option for mamas who may not be interested in consuming their placenta, or if they are unable to due to for whatever reason, but still want to honor it in a meaningful way.
